We’ve launched the Whitechain network Testnet

A Testnet is a copy of the Mainnet, which operates on a similar principle, but allows testing and experimentation without risking real funds or the Mainnet itself. It is important to note that the coins of the testnet have no value and are used solely for testing purposes.

The main features of Testnet Whitechain:

  • Secure testing: Testnet allows developers and users to test new features, smart contracts, and other aspects of the blockchain system without the threat of losing real money.
  • Experiments and testing: The testnet allows you to try out different scenarios of interaction with the blockchain for free, which is especially useful for developers creating new applications and services.
  • Speed and efficiency: Since the Testnet coins have no real value, transactions on the Testnet are fast and with minimal resource costs.

The Testnet Whitechain has been actively used to test new features since its launch, with more than 21,500,000 transactions and more than 1,190,000 test coins distributed. This has helped to ensure the stability and security of the main network.

Testnet functionality includes:

  • Explorer for the Whitechain test network: allows users to view the status of transactions, balance and transaction history for specific wallet addresses, as well as search for information about deposited smart contracts.
  • Network statistics: displays current data, including WBT price, average gas price and transaction statistics.
  • Recent blocks and transactions: shows information about new blocks and transactions in real time.

Testnet is used to test and monitor a Whitechain blockchain network without risking the main network.

How can users interact with Testnet?

Users can participate in testing various blockchain features and interact with the Whitechain ecosystem through Testnet. Active testers can also receive rewards in the form of WBT through the SoulDrop system, which rewards users who hold WBT for active participation in the network.

Also, you can read more about the entire WB Soul ecosystem in detail in our article at this link or in our White Paper.

Bug Bounty

The WhiteBIT TR exchange is committed to creating a safe, secure and advanced blockchain for all users of the network, so a Bug Bounty program has been created to find bugs and vulnerabilities in Testnet and the Whitechain Explorer.

By participating in this program, you can help our team fix bugs and be rewarded up to $10,000.

Learn more about how to participate in Bug Bounty:

  1. Read the terms and conditions and rules of the program at this link;
  2. Research and look for bugs in Testnet and Whitechain Explorer;
  3. If you find possible bugs, let us know via the form on the Bug Bounty page. WhiteBIT TR will then check the report and if the information is confirmed, you will receive your prize according to our reward system.

The amount of reward is determined depending on the level of criticality of the bug, if:

  • You were the first to report the problem;
  • Our experts confirmed that the bug exists by checking your report against the specified playback steps;
  • WhiteBIT TR has made code or configuration changes based on your report.

Please note: WhiteBIT TR independently determines the risk level for each reported bug after thoroughly verifying and confirming the existence of the bug or vulnerability.
