What is WhiteSwap?

WhiteSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) of the WhiteBIT ecosystem. It operates on the Ethereum blockchain, allowing users to purchase cryptocurrency without registering an account or completing KYC verification.
WhiteSwap was launched in 2020 as a fork of the Uniswap V2 protocol. Its concept is to provide a decentralized exchange platform that operates on different blockchain networks, such as Ethereum, Tron, and Polygon.

  • Swapping: Users can swap one cryptocurrency for another on the platform. This process is carried out by smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain, which execute the trade automatically and securely.
  • Farming: WhiteSwap offers a yield farming mechanism where users can earn rewards for providing liquidity to certain pools
  • Staking: Users can also stake their WSD tokens to earn rewards. The rewards are generated by the trading fees on the platform and distributed to the WSD stakers*.
  • Governance: WSD token holders can participate in the governance of the WhiteSwap platform by voting on proposals and making decisions about its future development.

WSD Governance Token

WSD token is the governance token of the WhiteSwap platform. Governance token holders will directly have the power to influence the project's direction. In short, holders participate in platform development and decision-making mechanisms.

In addition to the co-own features, WSD provides stakers with WhiteSwap governance, WSD community treasury, the protocol fee switch, and the WhiteSwap Default Token List.

Initial governance parameters are as follows: 

  • 0.5% of WSD total supply (delegated) to submit a governance proposal,
  • 4% of the WSD supply is required to vote ’yes’ to reach quorum,
  • 7 day voting period,
  • 5-day timelock delay on execution.

Liquidity Provider Fees

There is a 0.3% fee for swapping tokens. This fee is split by liquidity providers proportional to their contribution to liquidity reserves.

Add liquidity into one of the selected pools and then add your LP tokens into the farming pool. As for the staking rewards, users have to manually restake them. Here’s how it works:

- Сhoose a farming pool and provide liquidity into the selected pool;

- Stake your LP tokens into the farming pool;

- Earn your farming rewards and collect fees corresponding to your share in the pool.

How to earn with liquidity pools?

Liquidity providers earn a 0.3% fee from every transaction facilitated with the liquidity pool. Trading fees are always auto-compounding for a depositor.
