The WhiteBIT TR exchange implements a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process for foreign users living in Turkey. To register, non-Turkish citizens must successfully complete their KYC verification.
Main Requirements
In order for users to complete this procedure, they must meet the following requirements:
- Be a resident of Turkey.
- Have a bank account in Turkey.
- Have a valid government-issued document.
Please Note: Foreign nationals from countries not excluded by the User Agreement are eligible to undergo identity verification on our platform, assuming they possess a residence permit and valid documentation from the Republic of Turkey.
Steps of KYC Verification

You can complete the process by following the instructions below:
- Log in to your account, go to your profile, and navigate to the Verification section. Select your country, then click the “Start” button next to “Basic.”
- Review the information displayed on the screen and tap ‘Continue.’
- Select the country where the document was issued, choose the document type (ID card, passport, residence permit), and then take a photo of your document.
- Complete the selfie steps.
- Enter your phone number and verify it with an SMS code.
- Select the country where you reside and enter your city of birth. Then, complete the financial questionnaire.
- Fill in your residence details and upload one of the residence documents from the list.
- Review the details and confirm your identity verification application.
Face-to-face Verification
Once your KYC application has been approved, the relevant department will contact you to schedule an in-person verification at your address. Until then, your account will be restricted to certain products and services.
The relevant department will send you the necessary information and documents for the in-person verification.
Once the required documents have been signed and reviewed, your account will be activated for all services.
