Trading Availability for Pending Deposits

The Trading Availability for Pending Deposits feature enables users to initiate spot trading of deposited assets before the deposit has received the full number of network confirmations required for withdrawals.

With this feature, deposited funds become available for trading once the minimum number of confirmations for trading is reached.

How it works

Each asset has two confirmation thresholds:

  • Confirmations for Trading (RCT) — the minimum number of confirmations required for the deposit to become available for spot trading.
  • Confirmations for Withdrawal (RCW) — the number of confirmations required for the deposit to be fully completed and available for withdrawals.

Once the deposit reaches the RCT threshold:

  • the funds are credited to the Main Balance;
  • the deposit becomes available for Spot trading;
  • transfers between Main and Trade balances are allowed.

Until the deposit reaches the RCW threshold:

  • withdrawals of the unconfirmed amount remain unavailable.

After the deposit reaches the RCW threshold, the deposit status changes to Completed, and all restrictions are removed.

Deposit statuses

Important notes

Stablecoin protection mechanism

If the market price of USDT or USDC deviates significantly from its expected value, the feature may be temporarily suspended automatically.

In such cases:

  • deposits will remain in the Pending status;
  • trading availability will be restored automatically after market conditions stabilize.

Blockchain reorganization handling

In rare cases, blockchain network reorganizations may affect previously credited deposits.

If this occurs:

  • and the account balance is sufficient to cover the affected amount, no additional action is required;
  • if the balance is insufficient, the case may be transferred for manual review.
