How do I make my first deposit?

Funding your balance is the first step to accessing the full functionality of WhiteBIT TR. We offer several deposit methods — from classic deposits to internal tools for fast transfers. This article gathers all available funding methods so you can choose the most convenient one.

Here are the available deposit methods on WhiteBIT TR:

  • Standard cryptocurrency deposit (transfer to your exchange wallet address);
  • Fiat currency deposit (bank cards and payment providers);
  • WhiteBIT code (crypto transfers between WhiteBIT accounts);

Standard cryptocurrency deposit

This method is suitable only if you already have cryptocurrency on another wallet or platform. To use it:

  1. Go to the “Balances — Wallet” section and click “Deposit” next to the desired cryptocurrency in the web version. In the mobile app, tap “Wallet” — “Deposit”.

  1. Select the “Address” method.

  1. Choose the network of your wallet on the other platform.
  2. Copy the address or use the QR code.

  1. Make sure you enter the correct recipient address on the sending platform and confirm the transfer.


Please note: Always select the correct network and check the address before sending funds. All fees and limits are displayed on the Fees page.
Also, in light of current regulations, for crypto withdrawals, 48 hours must pass since the last transaction (deposit or trading) of the cryptocurrency you wish to withdraw to another address. Details regarding the legal regulations about withdrawals are accessible here.

Fiat currency deposit (TRY - USD)

This allows you to fund your balance using a bank card or payment services. Here are the simple instructions:

  1. Go to “Balances — Wallet” and click “Deposit” next to the desired fiat currency. In the mobile app, tap “Wallet” — “Deposit”.

  1. Choose a payment provider that you desire in between TRY or USD.

  1. Enter the deposit amount.
  2. Send funds using the provided payment details.
  3. Confirm the payment.

     

Please note: check the daily deposit limit and the amount you will receive after the fee has been deducted. The fee depends on the provider you choose. All fees and limits for deposit in the local currency, as well as the available providers, are listed on the Fees page.

WhiteBIT code

This is an internal code for instant, fee-free cryptocurrency transfers between WhiteBIT users. Here’s how to fund your balance using a WhiteBIT code:

  1. Receive a WhiteBIT code from another user.
  2. Go to “Products” — “Codes” in the web version, or “WhiteBIT Products” — “Codes” and tap “Codes” in the mobile app.

  1. Select the “Activate code” option.
  2. Enter the code. If your code is password-protected, enable the corresponding toggle and enter the password in the additional field.

  1. The funds will be instantly credited to your main balance.

Please note: In accordance with regulations set by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK), withdrawals are not available for newly registered accounts due to a mandatory 72-hour security waiting period following the first cryptocurrency deposit.

This is a mandatory security measure to ensure compliance with regulations and the security of user funds. The withdrawal option will be reactivated after 72 hours have passed.
